Anne Hoskin

I am currently the Secondary Mathematics Coordinator for Alief ISD in Houston.   This is my 28th year in education.  I have served in many capacities in both public school districts and in publishing/educational support.

I began my career as a special education and math teacher in Houston ISD at R. E. Lee High School.  I later moved to Alief ISD where I had the pleasure of working first as a middle school Assistant Principal and later as a curriculum coordinator.

I also have experience in curriculum support and sales for several textbook and digital curriculum companies.  I have collaborated with development teams to provide the best possible products and services to Texas school districts.  I have experience in curriculum development, digital curriculum/blended learning implementation, account management, and professional development.  I have had the honor of working for companies such as McDougal Littell, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Adaptive Curriculum, and DimensionU.

I am the CAMT 2018 Program Chair and also served as a member of the Program Committee in both 2012 and 2015.  In addition, I have served on TEKS review committees, written benchmark assessments for Region 4, participated in the Rice University School Mathematics Project – Girl Tech, and collaborated with area school districts and Houston Community College to develop HB5 math programs.

I am also a part of the West Houston Leadership Institute where local businesses, health care entities, and school districts learn from each other and work together to provide the best opportunities and quality of life to the

Graduated from University of Houston and obtained a Masters Degree in Mid-management from Texas Southern.

I am currently a member of NCTM, NCSM, TASM, and Houston Area Middle School Association.
