Shere Salinas for South Regional Director

Shere Haigh-Salinas is focused on improving mathematics education. As a secondary mathematics specialist for Corpus Christi ISD, she has the opportunity to work with approximately 180 secondary mathematics teachers. She continuously strives to improve the district curriculum documents to ensure they provide appropriate direction for addressing the TEKS and College and Career Readiness Standards. She has facilitated the process to obtain four Algebra Readiness Grants and manage the grant budgets of over 1.2 million dollars.
